Install Akamai Download Manager 3
Aug 10, 2017 I am using W7 ultimate. I have uninstalled Akamai Netsession Interface by mistake. Now i want to reinstall it. How & where i can get the installation file? If you are using Windows you can install Akamai NetSession Interface through control panel. On Mac OS you can install through system preferences pane. Why you use Akamai Download Manager. Akamai Download Manager Removal
Does anyone know how to uninstall Akamai Download Manager? It is used to download Adobe products. I went to the Adobe website and found these instructions:
Remove Akamai Download Manager 2 in Internet Explorer 7 or 8- Close all Akamai Download Manager and Internet Explorer windows.
- Re-open Internet Explorer.
- Select Tools > Manage Add-ons > Enable Or Disable Add-ons.
- Choose to Show: Downloaded ActiveX Controls (32-bit).
- Select DownloadManager Control.
- Click Delete.
The problem is, when I go into Manage Add-ons, there is no option to click that is called 'Enable or Disable Add-ons.' Therefore, there is no way to 'choose to show: Downloaded ActiveX Controls (32-bit),' no way to 'select Download Manager Control,' and no way to 'delete.'
Also, if I go into Add/Remove Programs, I don't find anything that looks like a download manager program.
The reason I would like to get rid of this program is that I ran a Secunia PSI scan, which found that my version of Akamai Download Manager is out-of-date (ver 2.2.5.0) and it appears the only way to upgrade to ver 2.2.5.4 may be to download something else from Adobe, which I don't want to do.
Has anyone dealt with this one before?
Akamai Download Manager 3 enables the download of some trial software on Adobe.com. For example, Akamai 3 is used to download trial versions of Acrobat X Pro, Adobe Captivate, and the Technical Communications Suite.

I checked what the problem, and reading previous post I found that the error is because crystal tile using the mod of the starter, I download the file 'clean arm9.bin' or 'arm9leg.bin' but try to use it instead of using starter the previous mod that I had chosen (arm9BOB.bin) and still i get the white screen, I am also using a clean rom without patching, I don’t know which may be the problem of this mod, could someone explain how to make the new process with the new file arm9LEG.bin?

If you see the Akamai Download Manager Installer window but the installer doesn't start, click Try Reopening It. Then, click Run.
You know that Akamai Download Manager 3 installs when a download progress bar appears. You may be prompted to browse to choose a location to save the download.
- If the Akamai Download Manager doesn't install or if you get an error, Download the trial directly.
Akamai Download Manager 3 installs but the download never starts
Keep the web browser and the Akamai Download Manager 3 window open until the download completes. If you close either window prematurely, the download fails.
- Go to the Adobe downloads page and restart the download.
- Leave the browser and the Akamai Download Manager window open until the download successfully completes.
- If the download fails again, download the software without using Akamai. See Download the trial directly.

- Delete the Resume Download shortcut from the desktop, if it's there.
- Navigate to the folder where you saved the files and delete any temporary files ending in .part.
- Go back to the Adobe downloads page and restart the download.
- Leave the Akamai Download Manager window open until the download successfully completes.
- If the download fails again, download the software without using Akamai. See Download the trial directly.
To download the trial product without using Akamai Download Manager, do the following:
- Use a browser such as Internet Explorer 8 or Firefox 3.6, which do not have a limit on the size of file downloads.
- Go to the Adobe downloads page and start the download.
- In the Akamai Download Manager Installer window, click the link (or links) to download the software directly.
